To the Editor:
I was disappointed to read that the courts rejected the voter ID law.
Last Dec I went to the D.P.S.to renew my driver license and the clerk ask for my Birth certificate or passport as there wasno ilndication on the computer that I was a citizen. This 78 year old Texan had to go tothe bank to retrieve the certifilcate of birtlh. Now, if we have to prove our citizenship to drive a car why not a voter card. What is more important a vote only by citizens or to drive a car?
