To the Editor:
Is it shameful? The Con Edison Steam Pipe blast occured over five years ago. July 18, 2007, to be exact.
Many innocent New Yorkers were injured and their lives disrupted by that event.
Yet, many of these victims still have not had their day in court.
Not even a disposition filed. Imagine, over five years without a deposition being filed. Five years is much too long to not see a responsible solution and closure.
Who should take responsibility for this lack of concern? Con Edison? The judicial system? Delayed justice is not acceptable.
