Fellow Chicago Taxpayers: As the strike goes on more families will flee our city for the suburbs further diminishing home prices.
We wonder why with so many qualified teachers the mayor doesn’t fire them all: give the ones who are truly good educators the opportunity to come back to work. With such a low success rate we can only improve our students’ education to flourish in competive job market.
Having a Chicago Public Schools education shouldn’t be a hindrance. The United states is very behind in all levels of education and teachers who don’t care (they don’t to continue the strike) further reduce our children’s future chances.
