It’s Time for a 6-Year Presidency

To the Editor:
When the founding fathers established unlimited 4-year terms for the president (later changed to two terms after FDR) I’m quite certain that they could not have envisioned the leader of this country spending about 50% or more of his first four years in office running around the country in his re-election bid while the country suffered from what some of us would call mismanagement.

Time to change the rules to one 6-year term period so that once the president is elected he/she will spend all of their time running the country not running for re-election.
