Letter to the Editor:
I’m writing in response to the article on Peoria policeman’s demotion affirmed.
When will people realize that our freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of the press has been usurped by this administration?
Say anything derogatory about this President and the world comes crashing down upon us.
But say something about a conservaive (i.e. George W – R. Reagan, etc), and everything is printed and even embellished upon.
How dare the city of Peoria take away this American’s right to say and do what he feels.
It’s his right and the right of every American to do just that. He didn’t kill the person wearing said T-shirt. It was a rag.
I may (or may not) agree with what he did, but I will defend to the death his right to do it. It’s the American way.
