Where is Global Leadership on Climate Change?

Letter to the Editor:
Have you noticed a lot of strange weather in the past few years? You’re not alone. Nine of the ten hottest years on record have fallen since 2000. Dirty weather has become the “new normal,” but there’s nothing normal about it.

Climate change is happening before our eyes. But despite some important steps forward in key countries, the world’s leaders have not come together to take action. We need a global conversation about the urgent need for solutions.

The Climate Reality Project, with Former Vice President Al Gore just announced they’ll be hosting an online event on November 14 to raise worldwide attention to the impacts of climate change. It’s called 24 Hours of Reality: The Dirty Weather Report, and anyone can RSVP at www.climaterealityproject.org. Please join.
