Hey Elites: Stop Telling Us How to Save Money

To the Editor:
Love how the paid-in full writers tell us to save for our retirement. Has anyone told them that 76% of families are living paycheck-to-paycheck with no savings and large debt?

GraphsI also love the way the government tells those on Social Security that they get a cost of living increase — I am on Social Security and my total cost has increased more then four times all cost-of-living-increases. And that is just totaling food, gas, medical, local taxes/fees, electric, you all know the basic items needed to keep from dying. Now, the Washington rulers want to decrease the cost-of-living.

How did we get in such a bad-way? The American Voters keep voting these people into office.

The “98%ers” real income is now below what is was in the 1960s, yet our GNP keeps increasing and our average USA income increases; That tells you that the money is going to a few, the elite. The GOP wants more tax reductions for the elites and fight like demons from hell to keep the tax loop-holes, tax brakes and lower tax rates for the Elite class.

The good old USA has the highest health cost by factors of 2 to 7 times the other 34 first-world nations. All these countries have a one-payer system and healthcare for all of their people. But the United States has many more Elites making billions, like major stockholders of insurance companies, hospitals and med companies, and a lot of people that can not see a doctor when needed.

The USA does have the major political parties that are very good on playing Good-Cop-Bad-Cop on the American people, but their true masters are the same few elites.

How did we get in such a bad-way? The American Voters keep voting these people into office -like lawyers, elites and members of the GOP and DEMs and now the GOP nut section called the Tea Party.
