To the Editor: The arrest and strip search of Indian Diplomat Devyani Khobragade demonstrates the serious consequences of U.S. insensitivity. Ms. Khobragade is accused of visa fraud and underpaying her maid. Charges of this type, whether or not they are justified, are no reason to handcuff anyone much less subject them to a strip search.
