Wake up America. I am not a teacher and do believe that that teaching profession needs an overhaul, but students need a wake up call! It should be at the top of their list of things to do.
We wonder why with so many qualified teachers the mayor doesn’t fire them all: give the ones who are truly good educators the opportunity to come back to work.
I sincerely hope that going forward, teachers are recognized as heroes and the best hope our country has for a better future, not the scapegoat for what is wrong with America.
